Improv Jones
This is the longest running improv show in Rhode Island. It’s good. It’s once a month. You might think that’s less practice for the performers, but it’s actually more motivation to not suck. BONUS: If you go to Rhode Island, make a weekend out of it. Improv Jone performs on the on first Saturday of the month, and the Empire Revue (featured in episode 1) performs on the first Sunday.

Ray Harrington
Ray Harrington’s a stand-up based in Rhode Island. He’s done a bunch of cool stuff. He’s been on Conan. He’s got two comedy albums available on Spotify. But the coolest thing he’s done is make a documentary about how to be a man. At one point in the film, he boxes a five time world champion named Vinny Pazienza. It’s one of the funniest scenes I’ve ever seen in a documentary.
